The courier guy - Do not deliver on date and get no answers if call

My package was out for delivery today about 8 o clock and did not receive it the i try to call graaff reinet coeriers guy and no one answer i also get the pin that i must give to them but not yet get my package. Now i try call the numbers on the tracking code and they tell me i now get my package only on Thursday how does it work i waiting all day and now delivery. Graaff reinet courier guy people dont even let you know.
