i bought the above bed on the 2nd April 2022 from rochester in mall@carnival. salesperson (Charmaine) attended to me. i specifically asked her for delivery on wednesday 06 April as that was the only time when someone would be at home as i work untill after 17h00. Tuesday afternoon at around 17h10 i received a message that delivery will only take place on Thursday, whereupon i send a please call me to the number given to change delivery date. no reply. phoned today, Wed 06 april and charmaine was not in. Spoke to Cynthia and told her that the bed can only be delivered today. phoned me back to say the truck can only come tomorrow but they do have a private guy that can do that, upon which we agreed. As the time was moving, before 13h00 i phoned to find out where the driver was. Spoke to Thembi as Cynthia was not available. At 14h19 i received a whatsapp from Cynthia to say that she cannot phone the driver as she was in a meeting, "i will forward you his number so u can ask how far he is". Her exact words, and then followed the drivers number! How unprofessional? So i did reply with a whatsapp to say that they must please cancel the deal . Since when is it my responsibility as a customer to contact the driver??? ill follow up in the morning, but as far as im concerned this is pathetic service.
