I have paid my UIF contributions for over 20 years of work at several companies.

Its not an option for you to pay UIF you get forced to pay but heaven forbid the day you want to claim. DO THEY THINK YOU HAVE MONTHS TO WAIT> WHAT IS THE UIF FOR ???? THEY PLAY FOR TIME HOPING YOU GET A JOB BEFORE THEY HAVE TO PAY YOU OUT !!!! , WHO HAS MONTHS TO WAIT TO FEED YOUR FAMILY ???


on 5 February 2024 I had to lodge a claim for UIF as I was unfairly fired. When applying online Ufilling it did not give me any place to upload all the necessary documents, Called the call Centre and they emailed me a link but the link did not work. Called call Centre again and got told to email documents to them. then when I logged on to ufilling the system said my claim was cancelled by the assessor. Then I had to APPEAL on ufiling . My APPEAL was sent to the APPEALS COMITTEE and up to date i have not had any feedback. Call Centre says every time I call I must wait another 5 to 10 days.

THIS IS NOT ON AND I WILL GO PUBLIC AND EVERY SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORM AVAILABLE TO ME AND TO THE HIGHEST ATTEMP TO LET THE WORLD KNOW HOW PATHETIC OUR GOVERMENT DEPARTMENTS ARE.

Still nothing. After several calls to the UIF offices only to be told now they still need 2more documents. So submitted it . Let's see what's next,,,,,,,,,,,
