Vox telecommunications - Vox charging with no service

I cancelled my Vox internet after not having service.
I was handed over due to outstanding money, thou I paid up to date, with no service.
Received a letter showing nothing outstanding.
For a year no one answers my mails or the mails from VeriCred.
Only after complaining on Hello Peter, I get a reaction, but still saying I am liable for paying. Although VOX are at fault.
Can anyone please assist me in getting this account off of my name.
I will not be paying for something I am not a fault with.
