1stly the contract of the account ended on 31st December 2021 but instead of Vodacom billing only for airtime & data , they were billing the device and we stop paying for the account as the contract ended but then was handed over 19 February 2023. For the past 2 months, I've have been looking for an account from Vodacom and was moved from pillar to post, nobody could tell where is the account but then I refused to hang up and demanded to speak to the Manger that's when they call the debt collectors only to find that the account was not with them. Then wa finally given the reference number to pay @ any Vodacom shop with a split of 2 payments whereby the interests was way too high when I finally, but the account was paid in full on the 22nd July 2023 at Vodacom Shop Northgate.
Now I am fighting Vodacom as they don't want to update the account as paid/settled or even giving a proof
Vodacom call centre agents are dropping calls and they refused to help me or even telling me why am I not getting statements/ a letter to confirm that account was paid in full . They say calls are recorded they can listen to me calling them everyday about the account till Today there is still nothing. THE SERVICES AT VODACOM IS TERRIBLE only when they want you to buy their gadget they play carring but once thing goes south nobody wants to help.
