I would like to complain about Vodacom, I received a message on my phone on the 14 of January 2025, (please see message below that was sent to me) it states that I can upgrade my phone and only pay R1021, on the 1st of February I picked up that my new instalment is now R1778, so I called them and wanted to find out why is it so much I was informed only the plan reflected on the message they sent to me not the whole package, I asked them to please cancel it as I was not informed of how much my whole package was going to be and the message only stated that I needed to pay R1021, all of a sudden I need to pay R4800 for cancelation fee, they are robbing me blind I cannot afford a contract for R1770 as I have kids and a family to feed. There is no where is the message sent to me where they state that the new plan doesn't include the hand set.
Please assist me in cancellation of the contract.
