I transferred clubs from Lenasia to Cresta. This should be a simple process, but not with Virgin. In month 1 (August), I was not let in as they advised I was in arrears. After much discussion, they fixed their error. In month 2 (September), they debited the incorrect debit order. After much conversation, they promised to fix this in the October debit order run. In month 3 (October), hold and behold, they cancel my contact which affects my Discovery Vitality and they debited me a whopping R681. I have complained, nagged and to get an appointment with the club manager is like making an appointment with the President of SA. Never available. To add insult to injury, the Virgin Active Rewards programme is a shambles. It never works and the staff at the gym have no clue on how it works. I raised my complain to their back office 3 weeks ago and followed up weekly. She does not even have the courtesy to respond as I did this via email. Catch a wake up Cresta branch or you will loose membership.
