I was retrenched in December of 2022. I immediately applied for UIF after 15 years of working.

I submitted all documents online on January 30th 2022. every week for the past 9 Months i have called to inquire of my status. Each time the say it will be escalated - and when i inquire they repeat what it says on the website.

in June the status changed to completed by assessor and it stays there . i dont get any feedback at all. This is ridiculous , I always ask for an email or number and they say they cant give it to me ..

What am i to do after 9 months and struggling to find employment, we dont have an UIF centre in our town
