I started the Process of Claiming my Uif June 19th. The website was an issue for a long period of time. It took several months along with many calls and emails to get my log in sorted.
Once the log in was done became the battle of the documents. This was eventually rectified on October 5th. This was after waiting the allotted 35 days to get there were issues. After submitting everything with confirmation on the phone all documents are now in order. Was told to wait 4 7 15 35 days. Not one person could give a definitive answer. I phone today to check whats the delay. To discover some new random form is need and not in any of the correspondence mails. Again was told it has been escalated which will take 10 days. So no rush no urgency to fix the problem. I am retired and I'm now restricted due to the lack of process.. I have been called a lame uif claimer on the phone which shows the competency of the claims office... Due to all this i have also been taken to hospital as my health is not good and hence i was forced into retirement from my doctor.
