I have been struggling to get UIF to unlock my Ufiling account since March 2022. I am not able to proceed with my claim as i have been unemployed for the past few months. The call centre agent told me to rather go to the regional offices but yet the queues are extremely long all day everyday due to the lack of queue management systems. I am not able to count the number of emails and calls i have made to date. I honestly think we need to do better when it comes to service delivery.
They took over 5 months to unlock my account. I called and emailed numerous times only to be told my case has been escalated but never revert me with resolution. Service delivery should be better than this.
