I went on maternity leave from FEB - JUNE. (4 MONTHS).
It was extremely difficult to get my first payment, which I did get only in May.
I applied for the continuation of benefits as I still had 3 months to be paid to me.
I send complaints and emails - all of them stating a new case number and they will revert back to me, but they never do. I then phoned and they informed me I had to send my medical certificate. I informed them I did on 2 separate occasion, but ill send it again.
Once again no response received. I repeatedly send emails for a follow up or update, nothing.
Its now August and I'm still struggling to get my other 3 months benefits/monies due to me. Nobody responds or phones you back. I feel that I pay every month for my uif, and that I did everything correct to be able to claim for my uif, why should I struggle this much for them to pay me out??
