I have since applied online for my unemployment insurance fund and submitted the required documents in January 2022 ( UI19, UI2.8, copy of ID, payment schedule from my previous employer and confirmation letter from my bank) and to date I still have not received a single payment, I have done numerous follow ups, emails and I have not received any assistance, I have done 3 continuation of benefits that I was asked to do by the agents and on email and still no payment has been made, I have been referred from pillar to post, complained directly to the department and still nothing has been done, I am truly drained. The application was approved in January 2022 and I was asked to do COB and was advised that the payment will be done within 7 days, no payment was done, I then kept on following up and was advised to submit my 3 month bank statementpf which was submitted, still nothing was done, I kept on following up and was advised in March again that I must do a COB of which was done, still no payment was done, I kept on sending emails and contacting the call centre of which the consultant on Tuesday last week advised me that I must do another COB of which was done and confirmation email was received that the payment will be made within 5 business days of which elapsed on Monday, on Tuesday the 17th I received an email from contact centre advising me that my query has been actioned with no payment, they will refer for assessment, I mean I have submitted every single document and done everything single thing the department has asked me to do but I still have not received a single payment, I really don't know what to do and ask for assistance.
