Another month and yet again have to complain about UIF. Applied via the USSD number as we have been informed that we not to attend at the offices and must use that platform. It seems ridiculous that every month we must be complaining about monies that are due to us. When I called initially I was told that I have to accumulate the funds what nonsense it is supposed to be a policy. Telephone calls to the Labour Centre Durban nobody answers. I am getting no joy and suffering through the month we have to live not like we get paid a fortune that to nobody can explain how the money is calculated be that as it may all we want is payment.

the Uif is in a shambles. I had to go down to the labour centre personally only to be left in a room with other people for almost 4 hours and they had forgotten about us and we were finally attended to it was no help at all. Must now wait for a further 15 days for payment and I have not been paid for 2 months now. This is our money and yet we have to beg to get it Government does not care about us but yet the money is collected and paid on time. Im trying to understand this is a policy allocated to individuals but an employee made a comment that the funds have to accumulate that is nonsense. How do we unemployed South African's survive. This is the only country in the world that does this to its people.

I believe that after going into sign and the fact that we have not been paid for 2 months and we still have to apply for October and it is nearing end of October the payments should be in our accounts with 24 to 48hours and not be told within 15 days. This is ridiculous and to make matters worse the Ufiling system the government want the continuations of benefits to take place does not work system slow and keeps crashing.

I highly doubt that we will be seeing our funds and will have to beg and borrow and have no way of living while our government live a pretty life nobody gives a * FORBIDDEN * about us
