Travelstart - Customers are misled with vehicle bookings throuh bluu

I booked an airline ticket through Travelstart to fly from Cape Town International Airport to Lanseria Airport today, 14/08/2023. At the same time as booking my flight, I also booked a vehicle however, at the time of booking the vehicle, one is not given the terms and conditions of the booking and this is only provided after you have actually paid the car hire fee.

I landed this morning just after 09:00 and went to BLUU to collect the vehicle which I had booked only to be told that i) they wouldn't accept my VISA card which I wanted to pay the insurance with and ii) they wouldn't accept the card based on the fact that the card was in the name of my company and not my personal name. In addition, they insisted on a credit card so that they could put a hold on the card for in excess of R14 000. This information is also not provided at the time of booking the vehicle.

After more than an hour of fighting with the company, I called Travelstart and requested a refund however, the person I spoke with flatly refused to assist me in any way
