5th of September a parcel was collected for delivery in Polokwane. 2 contact numbers were given. At first delivery attempt, 1 of the numbers were contacted to no avail, no attempt made on 2nd number. Since that day the branch has been given a total of 4 contact numbers, all of which are at the delivery address. Client works from home so no change in address during the day. The branch has been reporting delivery attempt but none were made and neither was contact made with the recipient. The recipient called the branch numerous times to make an effort for the delivery to be finalized but the branch has not kept their word each time. Yesterday an arrangement was made for the driver to meet the recipient on the highway this morning at 08:00. The recipient was there until 09:40, we both made numerous calls to the branch and operations dept. The driver just passed him on the highway then said he will deliver later today. The branch says there are no arrangements noted on the system. This is getting ridiculous and thoroughly frustrating. The parcel will end up damaged or lost. Not to mention that all our attempts have now officially cost so much more than it did to send the parcel. This is unacceptable. We cannot have people spending most of every day trying to recover what's ours from TCG. Please see to it that this delivery is made today, the matter has caused enough distress now.
