I hired a car from Tempest and two days into the rental my car was having starting problems. After another two days of hard fighting with Tempest they finally agreed to swop it over. On the date of swopping it over I explained that I removed the boot cover amd left it at home to make space. This was recorded by the gentleman we agreed that I would return the boot cover on returning the new vehicle.
When I returned the new vehicle on the date my contract ended I got a copy of the rental agreement with the someone from tempest writing on it and signing it that the boot cover was returned.
Two weeks later I got charged for damages and when I asked what damages it was I was told its for the missing boot cover. I got proof that I returned it but still they ignored my emails and just said I didn't return it.
Such poor customer service and no one even bothered to look at the attachment file. I would never rent from Tempest again and never recommend it.
