Telkom is according to the LTE contract supposed to to deliver 200GB day and 200GB night with a speed of 20Mbs. I have chosen this contract because it’s not shaped. I’m on and off and not even getting 1,5Mbs.
I’m working from home and it’s frustrating. If I don’t deliver what my clients ordering I don’t get paid!! Now I sometimes can’t deliver in time and get paid less. Telkom takes the full amount every month but delivers maximum 30%.
The answers I’m getting is the weather, my Router (what I replaced) or loadshedding. We private individuals make plans for that and spend a lot of money on UPS, inverter’s or generators to stay online but the other side just doesn’t care. One doesn’t get reimbursed or get any kind of help. I’m just assuming that Telkom is a state owned entity and is just taking our money to feed “someone” but otherwise doesn’t care at all.
And BTW in other countries you’ll get 5times the speed uncapped for a fraction of the price. Why??
