Some time in August, an Agent from Sell Direct Telkom contacted me with an offer to do an upgrade for 081 523 1346. Initially, I refused but he told me that it was an offer for voice minutes and data for R139.00 per month. He also told me that my subscription feel will decrease immediately. To my horror, I got an obligation fee of R492 for the upgraded contract. I did not receive a device. Upon querying this, Telkom Customer care was not helpful, neither did they bother to clarify why I had to pay the device obligation fee. I tried emailing them but the response was, I should call. Calling doesn't help either.
Despondent.
