To Whom it may concern
I am very disappointed, infuriated even, in Takealot's service regarding a product that I have ordered 2 times in a row now, and both times I was sent the wrong item. I can understand a mistake happening once, but twice with the same item is ridiculous.
I ordered the ''Metal Machines Playset Series'' ZURU Construction Destruction set, but both times you sent me the ''Croc Attack'' ZURU set.
The description for the ''Metal Machines Playset Series'' from Takealot website:
Description
An extreme chase around a construction site can end terribly for one of the racers as bolders are being tossed in the air while they race and jump over a gigantic machine! A booster will keep both cars in top speed, but who will be the last one standing? Speed past the loop, jump over the ramp and be sure not to get caught by the competition, as any wrong movement may cause you to fall off the track and lose!
Does this mention anything about a crocodile??? No it does not.
The Pictures of the two different sets don't look the same, and the description of the set that I ordered does not match with the one that I got.
The ''Metal Machines Playset Series'' description mentions ''A booster will keep both cars in top speed'' which indicates that there are 2 cars, but clearly the ''Croc Attack'' has only 1 car, and the 'Metal Machines Playset Series'' description talks about a booster, which the ''Croc Attack'' also does not have.
After the first time I ordered the 'Metal Machines Playset Series'' from Takealot I wrote in my review of the item on Takealot's website that I received a completely different set, and I know that the reviews get moderated before they go live on the website, which means that the person who read and approved my review did not even mention to anybody that a mistake was made.
Also after the first time I ordered the 'Metal Machines Playset Series'' from Takealot and received the wrong set, I logged a return on the website saying that the item I received is not as described. Clearly the people working at Takealot don't read what the customer's say... and then the exact same item becomes available on the website again and I think to myself that this time they will send me the correct one.
How does this happen two times in a row?
Now I don't have the correct birthday present for my son's birthday on Wednesday 05 October. Thank you very much Takealot for ruining a child's birthday.
