I placed an order for gym clothing and the new HIIT workout shoe on the 16th of September. I bought this shoe specifically for HIIT Training. I train 6 days a week. No other websites had my size in the shoe I was looking for, therefore I bought it from Takealot. If there was stock in any store close to me, I would have gone and tried them first. Waited for my order and it was delivered on the 22nd of September. I worked out with this shoe on the Monday 25 September. Had them on literally for 10min in the gym and they started squeaking even when i just walk! There was some issue with the innersole of the right shoe. It literally burned my feet red on the side. This is R2600 shoes!! I logged a return! I did choose the incorrect return selection and when they received, they rejected the return. Emails back and forth for weeks and received the shoes back last week Thursday, 5 October, because they cant change it on the system. Send it back on Friday, 6 October. And this was after numerous emails back and forth. Choose the correct return - defective product. AGAIN - they reject it. I would like to know how they rejected it? Did someone actually go and test the shoes? Did they actually tried the shoes for what it was advertised?? Still no feedback again! I will not go through another 4 weeks of back and forth!!!!! IT's REDICULOUS! I work for one of the biggest shoe retailers in South Africa. I know how returns work.
