I purchased a brand new cellphone off Takealot and from the minute I started to use the phone, it was problematic. It continuously dropped wi-fi connection, roughly every once every minute, and the cellphone reception itself was terrible. Calls kept on cutting out and were distorted. Anyway, after MUCH inconvenience, I purchased a new cellphone off their website and returned the initial device, and now they have just gone quiet. I have mailed them (Dale) on several occasions, and even had the supplier (Ruged SA) escalate this to them on several occasions, but they just dead ignore us.
What a pity, I was under the impression that Takealot appreciated their customers and had good values, but that is sadly not the case. Doubt I will do business with them again.
