Subject: Urgent – Add Table to Existing Order #178499147 for Delivery on the 15th
Dear Takealot Team,
I am writing to urgently request that the Glass Side Coffee Table 2 Tier End Table Nightstand Bedside Table be added to my existing order #178499147, which is scheduled for delivery on the 15th.
This request stems from the cancellation of one of the original tables I paid for. Only one was delivered, and after nearly two weeks, I was informed that the other is out of stock. I was then told I’d need to place a new order and pay an additional R200 delivery fee — which I find unreasonable given the lack of timely communication and the fact that the delay was not caused by me.
Additionally, I noticed I was incorrectly credited only R759 instead of R859. I was told this was because a R110 coupon was applied, but that should not have been deducted from an item that was never delivered — especially when both tables were part of the same order.
The table I’m now requesting is less expensive than the original, and I believe it’s fair to use the existing credit towards it and have it delivered with my upcoming order, without any further charges.
This situation has caused unnecessary inconvenience. I've spent over R5,000 this month with Takealot, and yet I feel like just a number in the system, with little consideration for customer service after payment is made.
I ask that this issue be resolved immediately and fairly. I look forward to your confirmation.
