I am writing to urgently address several issues regarding my recent order.
I was refunded only R759, despite having paid R859. This R100 shortfall must be corrected immediately. Furthermore, a coupon was deducted from my refund even though the table was cancelled by Takealot without any prior communication regarding it being out of stock. This is particularly concerning, as I had already received one of the tables and the second was out for delivery—both items were ordered together as a coordinated set for my living room.
It is unreasonable to expect me to incur an additional R200 delivery fee under these circumstances. Not only was I refunded less than what I paid, but I am now being asked to cover extra delivery costs due to a cancellation that was not my fault.
At the time of purchase, the table was in stock. Any delay in delivery and subsequent restocking is not my responsibility. Therefore, I expect the table to be added to my existing order and delivered on the 15th, without any further charges.
Additionally, the same table is now listed at a lower price than when I originally placed my order. Given this, there should be no difficulty in resolving this matter promptly and fairly.
This issue requires immediate attention, and I request written confirmation once all concerns have been resolved as outlined.
