Takealot - Ongoing issue with incorrect information supplied

Please note that I am VERY upset as this issue has been ongoing for several months and in one instance, more than 1 year! As a result there may be typos and grammar errors.

First - The invoice number is one of two, please contact me for the other.

I've been told on numerous occasions that the defective and damaged products I received are not in stock, however, at the moment of receiving these claims, I went onto the takealot app and took screenshots proving that the items are in fact in stock which I immediately emailed to takealot. They have gone and credited the items incorrectly and I will not accept deceitful behaviour.

The items in question were brought to the attention of takealot in a timely manner and I requested a call back, after a rather long back and forth, one person did contact me promising that she will resolve the issue, however, she has not and since disappeared completely. This has led me to using extreme vulgarities on takealot staff (which I am not proud of but shows my level of frustration).

This is has also led to a loss of income for my business since most of these items are used for my business purposes. FORCED to temporarily close all business operations and I hold takealot solely responsible for this!

I was also accused of not sending an item to them! I did in fact send the itme. They quickly changed their tune about that once I asked them to contact the driver who collected the item who I shall not publicly name.

They also have credited two items (one yesterday and one today) which I bought on sale, citing that the items are not in stock, however, I have sent the screenshot proof as mentioned and I shall repeat, I am looking at the same stock on the website right not in another tab and the items are available and from the exact same suppliers!

Due to the discrepancies from the company, it is my opinion, that I deserve compensation for their short comings.

I also bought a 32" TV which came with a faulty remote, again I was told that I could receive a credit but the item is not in stock, this is another example of not communicating honestly, as I am currently looking at the item right now on their website!

For perspective, I am looking at all the items that they claim are not in stock from the very same suppliers that I bought them from.

They do NOT follow their own terms and conditions as stated on their website and in their emails and which can be found on social media channels by 100's if not 1000's of South Africans showing the degree and level to which they have lost their values.

This is unlawful behaviour towards the South African public and the company which is a registered South African entity.

There is a lot more that I could say and I am sure that there is a lot that I have left out but I am done wasting my time (which is more valuable than money to MAN such myself who keeps to his word and treats his clients/customers with the respect they deserve). That statement should show that without customers, YOU (takealot) cannot have a business!

I have sent this to the ombudsman as well.
