I Honestly don't know where to start.
I place a order on the 25th and chose the option for same day delivery. Takealot never communicated with me during the course of the day I did not even recieved an sms or email confirming that my order will be delivered. Luckily I have a friend who is a Driver working for takealot (Peter Mtshwene). In all my years I have never met man so dedicated to his job and striving to always give excellent customer service. He was the only one who stayed in contact with me. First I had to find out from him that my order was Damaged. Then he instructed me to call the office and ask them to split the order so that I would still be able to get some of the items I ordered. Called takealot office talk to a man he promised to call me back and he never did.
Went into my takealot app and saw they rescheduled the order to be delivered before 19:00 still on the 25th. Nothing came! The next day (26th)Peter told me that they canceled my order without notifying me!!
TAKEALOT PLEASE COMMUNICATION IS KEY!!!
Work on upgrading your communications department or hiring new staff because something needs to drastically change!!
I've been a Takelot Customer for almost 2 years now and I have never recieved this horrible treatment before!! Someone is not doing their job and it's making your business look bad and unprofessional.
