A few months ago I ordered 8 black fans from Takealot, the fans arrived in damaged and taped boxes - not well packaged at all. 3 of the fans were broken, on one, the plastic backing was partially broken, on 2 the motor had fallen off entirely and they were in-operational.
I decided to return the two completely broken ones for exchange as I needed a certain number... it took weeks for them to approve the return of the damaged product - they said there weren't fans in stock when I could see this was false from the stock number listed on the site. There were fans in stock, but I was being lied to. When they sent replacements, they were the wrong fans - they came with metal blades unlike the others, and unlike the picture that advertised the product. This is false advertising.
I asked for a replacement again, simply for what I ordered.
After about 3 weeks of back and forth, I am being told that the seller isn't responding - even though there are clearly many suppliers with the correct fans. I do not believe this is the case, and it is unacceptable that I should have to sort out Takealot's problems, sending multifarious barcodes and images, sending millions of emails... just to get what I originally ordered.
