Takealot - Delivery date changed

I bought an item at takealot as a birthday gift for Saturday the 10.09.2022 and attended the party in Free State.

The initial delivery date by supplier was Wednesday 07.09.2022, now they say the item is only going to be ready by 12.09.2022 order placed 02.09.2022.

This is unacceptable.
