Takealot - Damaged hair topper

So I purchased a hairtopper and only started using the item recently but the clips are coming loose and the hair became so britlle and damaged after I have flatiron it but on the description it says clearly it can be flatironed. I'm very disspaointed because I've paid alot of money for it and was happy when I got it but now I'm super disappointed
