I ordered a chest of drawers with takelot .This was a very heavy package and it was delivered by one person and she clearly could not carry it on her own.I assisted her to carry it to the house .When I was busy with the assembly I found out that the top was visibly damaged on the sides.I had already assembled most of the chest of drawers which was no small task. I requested a return so that I can return the damage piece .I called their returns department and I was told to send pictures which I did and no response after that. The next person I spoke with told me I had to send the whole chest of drawers back mind you I had already assembled it and created wholes on the pieces .Takelots return policy clearly states that you must package your return properlly or you run the risk of them denying your claim.So they said I had to dissamble it and package it then they will pick it up I cancelled the return because this would have taken too much effort and time on my part to disasemble and source new cardboard and polystyrene . I also run the risk of damaging the parts that had no issues while trying to disassemble. I would have liked them to replace the damaged part because it was clearly damage from the transporting of the material.I only wanted the top of the chest of drawers.
