My mom is 75 years old. Her name is Joan Boot. She ordered a baby transporter carry for her grand daughters babyshower that is happening on 6 August. Her order was placed 27 July and delivered 28 July.
The wrong item, totally wrong, was delivered and we reported it on 28 July.
We have to phone them every day and they just tell us they are checking stock and the query is being escalated. It is a week later and we have no product or resolution. My mom is so unhappy she will not go to the babyshower on Saturday as it looks like because of takealot, she will have no gift to give her granddaughter. Who can help us?

The marketplace area was the source of my dissatisfaction. The same description picture is used on multiple products thus reating confusion and misrepresenting the actual product. I am extremely dissatisfied with the resolution of my query by takealot although it was a different supplier using their platform. This process is not working and caused me much personal embarrassment due to the fact that incorrect product was delivered and no stock could be obtained and my refund could only be done once the incorrect product had been collected from me and registered back in the takealot stock. Highly inconvenient.

This complaint has been considered as not resolved.
