Good day
Please find attached receipt.
Hereby I am informing you of the most unpleasant/disgusting customer service I received on the 16.11.2024 at approximately 16:35.
I ordered 7 plain ice creams from the cashier named Beatrice, I paid with R70. 00 notes and waited for my order.
After viewing the pricing display that showed R15. 00 for the Orea Ice cream I approached the cashier and politely asked her to add a R6. 00 for 1 oreo ice-cream. She informed me that she won't be able to because I need to pay R15. 00 extra as she already rang up the order.
The manager named Minny informed me the same and I asked her if she was able to void the order and ring it up again. She informed me that she was not able to.
I politely asked her for her name because I would like to enquire about this procedure. To my knowledge the Manager is able to void any order especially when a customer changes their mind.
The cashier was displaying a utterly poor/disrespectful Behaviour towards me because I asked the Manager her name and she instisted why I am asking her name and I also informed her that I would like to follow up with this.
Beatrice walked up to me from her cashier till point to come and fetch the receipt from me in vulgarity and in aggressiveness.
This is not how you are suppose to treat your customers after we repeatedly told her to stop arguing which led into foul language being used.
Another gentlemen walked up to her and asked Beatrice what is happening? Instead of the customer? Was it wrong of me to ask the Managers name? which the manager also said she is just doing her job.. Which I understand but to behaviour in that manner is so uncalled for. The embarrassment I had to encounter to be told that I must take my money and leave.
Is this the kind of Managers and Staff members you employ that has no respect for your customers.
This behaviour needs to stop.
This is my first time ever to experience such a poor behaviour from Steers at the intersection of Weltevreden road and Spine road opposite Cedars Secondary School.
I request corrective action and feedback in this regard
Kind regards,
