I booked my hotel on Wed for Thursday check in at Southern Sun or tambo Johannesburg. I arrived from Mauritius on Thursday around 11 pm. I requested a shuttle service from my hotel Southern sun. They made us wait half n hour . Remember I had a 1 year old baby and a lot of luggage. Upon arrival at the hotel I was told that they over booked! Now it's midnight and the very unhelpful manager was rude and not helpful at all. He didn't see our situation and basically didn't care. All he said was it was their fault. Nothing he can do but simply send us to another pathetic 2 star garden court. On top of that I used the pay later option to pay at the hotel. Tsogo sun used my points to pay towards the hotel. What terrible service! I want a refund asap. Will make this information viral n warn others not to rely on online booking !
