I was forced to update my Showmax account yesterday. Once done, I tried logging in on my TV Box, but kept on getting an error message. This morning, when I queried this, I was told that my TV Box is an old model, and was not compatible with Showmax. When I explained that it was unfair that I now have to buy a new device (I checked prices, and can confirm that there is nothing under R600 per device), I was told that I can either buy a new box, or cancel my subscription.
I am extremely upset with the fact that I was given these two options.
