Today I went to pic n pay qauliSave dobsonville
First of all I did not see a parcel counter as I was carrying my Man Bag pack
Went into the Shop to buy a few things
On my way out a door a lady guard stopped me on my way out wanting to check my recipe
As I was busy with the lady
A second door guard by the name Mxolisi asked to check my bag
Before I could even say yes you can check my bag
He had already opened my bag
I then asked why doesn’t he wait for me to say yes or no
Before he could even answer thes was an elderly Man by the name Mandla answering for Mxolisi
I asked them if that’s the store policy to ambush their paying clients and open their personal belongings
They then told me that it it the stores policy
I then answered by telling them that they should install door scanners to avoid searching our personal belongings
Because Sandton pic and pay doesn’t have any one searching clients personal belongings
Wats the difference between sandton and dobsonville ?
Then Mandla told that I must install the scanners myself
My biggest question is does pic n pay as brand promote such behaviour from their employees?
I was treated like a criminal and instead of the guards explaining nicely they still had the decency to give attitude
When I asked for the manager (Dimakatso)
She could not reprimand her stuff
Instead she was taking their side
My question is how many clients were mistreated and that pic n pay and
ambushed like they did me without them complaining ??♀️??♀️??♀️
Because clearly this is an ongoing behaviour hence they do not see anything wrong with their behaviour
If Sandton pic n pay can give better service without having to harass their clients
Why can’t dobsonville do the same ?
The treatment left a bitter taste in my mouth
