PAXI - Pep paxi stolen goods

On the 25th of April, my mother sent a new jacket and 2 pairs of shoes a red carvela and a brown gingermary sandals from polokwane landros mare pep to springs via paxi ram courier. The parcel arrived at pep madison springs after 3-5 days. I received an sms informing me that the parcel arrived. So unfortunately I couldn't go and fetch it since i was not around. It stayed at the shop for a period of 2 months. So when I went to collect it a day ago, i found it open and the two pairs of shoes are stolen. When i told the cashier that my things are missing, she called an assistant to come and help me. She came and told me that the parcel arrived in the shop ehile it was open. My question was how come do they take open parcels from the courier? So she checked the system and nothing was showing. No date of sending, no name of sender and receiver and also the nsme of the courier driver. So i called paxi and the guy from paxi told me that it is impossible for them to deliver open parcels and if the store madison springs pep found the parcel open then they must have reported it to paxi that they delivered an opeen parcel or they must have rejected the parcel. So now he then talked to the assistant and told her the same thing. The assistant then called the manager and told her that our things are missing and the manager said that we are "claiming" and our things are not missing. We got angry and as we wanted to return it to the store, they refused and said we must come back the following day to talk to the manager. We went back yesterday to talk to the manager and she said paxi drivers are thieves and they can steal our things and deliver them to the store while they are open so that customers can blame the store and both the assistant and manager said the bpep store at polokwane can also steal the shoes because they saw my mom wrapping them so they waited for her to leave and opened the parcel. So i want my shoes, they don't want to show us cctv footages for the day the parcel arrived. I want my shoes because I did not give them permission to take my things.

Can you please help me to further investigate this issue?
