On 3 January 2022 the parcel with tracking no (invoice number above) as well as 4 other bags were taken to your Lorraine Branch to be sent to me.
The bags were sealed, and as an extra precaution, since your t&c's state that it is the customer's responsibility to make sure all bags are sealed, the closure was re-inforced with sellotape.
There is nothing mentioned in the T&C's of the contract to indicate that this is not allowed.
The assistant, and later more senior staff advised that the parcels cannot be uplifted once there is additional tape on the packet, since this can result in allegations of theft by your staff. This I understand.
However, each bag has its own bar-code, and I am certain that these codes can be marked as damaged, and new bags could be issued.
As it stands we have paid R599 for 5 plastic packets that are useless!
