Mr Price - Home mall of africa - late delivery and goods with defects

I bought a chest of drawer at mr price home mall of africa on the 3rd January 2023. The policy states that delivery is within 5 to 7 working days. On Monday the 9th January i received a call from the delivery company informing me that they will deliver on Tuesday the 10th January. On tuesday i took leave from work to wait for the dlivery at home, which never happened. On th 10th i was in contact with both the store and the delivery company and none of them could assist. The 11th was the last day of the 7 working days and i continued contacting the store to find out when they will deliver. I spoke to the floor manager who failed to assist and kept on telling me that they are busy trying to get hold of the delivery company. This took the whole day. Around 17h00 i threatened to escalate the matter and thats when the store manager offered to deliver the goods to my place. They delivered that evening and we had loadshedding. When electricity was restored which was 10 minutes after delivery i checked the goods and there were two cracks on one side if the drawer. i informed the store manager and she promised that she will get back to me the followinf day at 11am when she gets to work. I waited the whole day with no feedback. The store manager failed to communicate feedback to me and i only got information after i tried to call the store three times around 17h00. It is 17h32, 12th Janaury 2023, and still no feedback from the store. i find this very unprofessional and will never buy from Mr Price Home or refer anyone to do so.
