Mondo - Give false information about free router

Today Mondo deducted R4200 from my account, so they still did not resolve my problem. Who can help me? Mondo is owning me the monthly deducted money since June and the cancellation fee.

It is highly frustrating with Mondo. I put in a complained so many times and still my problem is not resolved. On the 25th of November (last week Friday), an amount of R3,903.07 was deducted for cancellation fees. Which I cancelled at the bank. As you can see down below, I cancelled this immediately when they delivered, and they promised to pay back the instalment.

I have been contacting Mondo since June to cancel this deduction and consistently been following up with no success. I cannot afford to have the huge amount deducted as this is my bond instalment.


The total amount they own me is the month deducted since June. I am not responsible for cancellation fees. I want to reiterate that the salesperson had misinformed me that the router was free, and I did not make any commitment financially for this product.

I am writing to complain about a “free” router that was delivered by Mondo to me in June 2022.

On delivery I found out it was not for free like the salesperson said. I called them the same day and arranged that they take it back.

An assistant arranged for the courier services to collect, and she informed me it will take some time, after a month I started calling to inform them that I started paying for the router and I don’t use it. I am still waiting for the courier to collect it.

The router was collected on 5 September 2022, and I follow up weekly to make sure this router is cancelled. It was cancelled on the 15 September 2022 they informed me that they will give me the money back that I had paid for it because it was returned in the allowed time frame.

I was so disappointed to see yesterday that they still take the router’s amount from my bank account. Please ensure that the debit order is cancelled with immediate effect and all monies owing for me are refunded.

I need assistance because this is really making me furious. It is tough times and every cent counts for me I can’t just pay for something I don’t even own.

I will really appreciate your assistance.
