Makro Satisfaction Survey - ID 4683120
Makro stores are great but Makro Online is a nightmare. I purchased an item of R5499 online and selected the EFT option, as all online purchases it refers to my bank which i approved then I wait for the transaction to be finalized where it hangs up, going back to my order they ask if i want to try again, the same happened. Needless to say they took my money twice and still shows awaiting payment. I effectively paid almost R11000 and struggle to get the process going.
Then the bad process starts. You can phone only an agent, if you phone again its another agent. Eventually I get a email that confirms it is sent to the finance Dept. and I should give them 24 to 48 hours. it is now 120 hours and I have received no communication from them they have not even asked my banking details for the one repayment and the order is still not confirmed.
If I phone now I have to start all over again. Makro does not care, Complaint plarforms does not scare them, maybe the company is to big and don't care about the little guy like us. If I look at the long list of complaints it is all the same. Issues don't get resolved and communication is very bad. DONT BUY AT MAKRO ONLINE!!!!
