Today I write this mail being a very disappointed client ... on the 25th of October 2023 I came to Makro Germiston branch to purchase a TV we ended up purchasing a Toshiba 65" TV that was on special we then didn't get the best of services from the guy who was acting manager... systems were offline n he was just difficult we then left the store they were no TV that was checked or opened in the store. we then got home and the sound on the TV was not right my husband then went the next day back to the store to see the TV that was on display to see if Maybe the settings was wrong on ours he then speaks to the sales guys again he asked them can someone come home and check the TV they said no we then pay again for the TV to be brought back to the store however upon opening the box again the TV it was now cracked we then were told to leave the TV they must send it in on Monday as we only brought the TV there on Friday the disappointing part is that I asked to speak to a manager but a lady a normal clerk then pre tended to be a manager and she was more worried about her follow worker who did not opened the sealed box before we left the store she then promised us they will get back to us and feedback will be given on Monday its two weeks later with no feedback if Makro had a little customer service in them we would not be in this situation and if they had correct people advising us as clients not someone acting like managers.... I keep on calling from my company phone that is recorded and i speak to different people in reception what was more upsetting yesterday. I spoke to an acting manager Camel and she said the TV is still at the store how, why ... this whole situation could have been sorted if the TV was checked and I guess it's my TV now, so no one cares.
