Lewis Furniture - Unprofessional and false hope

I cannot understand how a business as big as Lewis can give us false hope. We applied for credit online and was then contacted by a salesman from the Pinetown branch to submit all the required documentation. We sent all through to the given email. i received a WhatsApp after i had to ask regarding progress that everything went well and i can buy for 45k. I was then told to come to the store and select the goods i need of which i did, only to wait there for an hour and finally had to leave because the system was off. I was contacted 2 days later to go back and setup the debit order and sign the contract. I went back only to find the systems down again, we managed to do the debit order telephonically from the branch. I left again and was told they will bring the contract to me for signing. After 2 days again i contacted the salesman only to tell me that the deal has not gone through. In the times that we live people want to take advantage of your situation when in need and then bait us around only to give us false hope after everything was right and promised that there won’t be an issue. All this confirmed on WhatsApp chat with the salesman, promising that everything is fine, and we don't have to worry. This is extremely unprofessional to say the least. I would advise to think twice before applying for credit with Lewis stores....... We have now moved into an unfinished place due to the promises made…… I will be posting on social media as this has been a horrendous experience.
