The staff of KFC Ontdekkers could be mistaken for thugs of the street, their mannerism and candor was so disturbing towards my husband and myself. We ordered a family meal, and the cashier made a mistake on the receipt by saying we were take away instead of eat in, when he went to correct the guy (Kamogelo), he shouted at my hubby saying get to the back of the line, my hubby tried to explain that he knew how the queue system worked he just wanted to make sure the staff knew we were eat in. He did not listen just shouted. Then when the food was ready, they did no give us anything to eat in. when we approached the counter to ask he gestured us to go away, we then asked for the manager to come, her name Is Rosina, she was so annoyed that we asked her assistance she flung two empty boxes at us and walked away without saying a word. I would go as far to say that they were racist and unimpressed that an indian family was there for dinner. The food was tasteless, lacking salt. we spent R159.90 on the bill and completely regretted choosing kfc.
I don't think the franchise as a whole has any credibility if this is the standard of staff they choose to hire, the country has millions of unemployed people who are desperate to have a job and feed their families. then you hire people who are racist, ungrateful and display street and thug mentality to customers. Why would you chose to hire someone like that and then further the manager who has the same mentality. Orders come from above but if your management is nothing more than an untrained uneducated woman with no self respect or respect for others then what do you expect the people under her to behave like.
