I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the assistance I received from one of your support agents concerning a referral reward issue.
I recently referred a friend to Hollywoodbets, following the referral requirements stated on your website. My friend used the referral link to sign up and successfully completed the FICA verification process. Shortly after, I received an SMS confirming that my referral was successful and that I had been rewarded with R50. However, when I reached out to your support team for clarification, I was informed that I do not qualify for the reward because my friend must first make a deposit.
This contradicts the stated requirements on your website and in Hollywoodbets’ advertisements, none of which mention a deposit as a prerequisite for the referral reward. Furthermore, the agent also claimed that Hollywoodbets does not send out SMS confirmations for referral rewards, despite the fact that I have clear proof of receiving such an SMS. When I offered to provide a screenshot as evidence, the agent ignored my offer and continued to insist that a deposit was required.
This experience has been frustrating and disappointing, as I followed the rules exactly as stated, and yet my eligibility for the reward has been unfairly denied.
