Defy Tumble Dryer Unit was bought online from Game, received it on Tuesday
Due to area wide power outage could only plug in and test on the Wednesdays.
Start/Pause button flashing, did all checks in manual, but no luck.
Contact Customer Care and asked for replacement.
Their response that a tech will contact me in 2-3 working days, come and assess the appliance, and will then submit a report to Defy. Only then a decision will be made and unit replaced
This is not acceptable
If I bought the unit instore and took it back they would have swapped it out, as I've done in the past.
Why do I have to go through this ordeal with a faulty unit?
It was not a working unit that broke after weeks of use. It was dead on arrival.
I've contacted the call centre but they are steadfast that the procedure is the procedure and that is that.
The fact that the time frame for waiting for a tech is so long tells me they sell constant faulty items
No wonder that Game stores are lately so empty of customers.
I will never make use of Game online services again.
