3 months ago I received a ridiculous amount of water consumption and I went to enquirer towards the end of November, because when you call all their phone lines are engaged. When I go there I spoke with this guy who advised me to take pictures of my meter ever month and I did that and he also advised me to go to Metsi a Lekoa because we assumed that it might be the meter problem and I went there in January and they told me to go back to the contact center and on the 19th of January I received a letter threatening me that they will switch off my services if the account is not paid up, however they have never explained to me as to how they got to that amount and I sent them pictures all of a sudden the water consumption goes down to 7 for a month. I mean how njani? Mind you the whole year I was alone and in December I had visitors but the water consumption dropped drastically and they lie that they do readings whereas they don’t.
On the 29th of November when I went to take the first picture for them to compare and mind you that is a municipality responsibility not mine but I did. When I got to my meter it was deep down hidden under lots of sand and roots to prove that they NEVER do the readings but they estimate the figures. Their service is poor shame. If I knew how their service was i wouldn’t have relocated to this place. They are the worst of them all!
