My DSTV app on my LG Smart TV was working perfectly until 25th August 2023. I was able to access the app, as soon as I went onto a channel I would get an error message. Something went wrong, please try again later.
After 3 attempts with agents, no one can assist me. They say DSTV upgraded their app recently and some LG tv's do not support the new version.
I then got hold of LG Support (who assisted me at great lengths) and said we had the correct firmware, the correct model to be able to support the new app.
The last agent said he would email me. I am still waiting.
I have been a DSTV customer for years and I get some apathetic agents who couldn't be bothered except to get me to uninstall, re-instal, reboot, etc etc and eventually give me an excuse and no more is heard from them. I have sent countless speed tests etc. All the other apps work perfectly except DSTV!
I am frustrated and very disappointed.
