Dischem Valleyview is my go to pharmacy and has been for years. I have been collecting my sons autism medication there for just as long. My recent script for Amfexa was prescribed for 3 repeats with 3 different scripts. For the initial collection the pharmacist advised that she will not be loading the repeat and that I should return when the course has finished. I went back today with the 2 remaining scripts and was advised that the one script was too old and one dated 5th Nov too early.
My issue is that with previous scripts, they would be loaded on the system and an sms would be sent when the script date is sue, when the pharmacist advised that I should rather come back when the course had been completed I didn't think the dates would be a hindrance.
The pharmacist supervisor helping at no.9 refused to assist me, meaning that my son would be without his meds until whichever date made her comfortable. I found to be heartless and appauling, with no regard for human life. She could care less which autistic strain my son was on and absence of medicine will do for him.
Dischem has lost a customer in me..
