My young children live overseas and i cannot return to them until I collect my RSA passport. I have been trying to collect my passport from Home Affairs Prospecton which has been waiting for me. I have stood in lines, done my time, pleaded until i'm blue in the face.
They regularly close the line at about 13h30 to 14h30 (branch closes at 15h30) as I am nearing the front.
They've attempted to solicit a bribe from me from officials which I made clear i wasn't going to pay as it supported corruption.
And now they recognize me and refuse to serve me. They have a big sign posted up to ask to see the manager if you have any complaints, and when I ask to speak to the manager and pointed out the big service mandate sign behind them, I am blatantly ignored and pretend i don't exist. Today, they said I was trespassing and closed the doors in my face and I had to leave so now i've exhausted all options i have. They manager herself sends back messages that she does not want to speak to me.
The security guards and home affairs persons that treat me so poorly, are named Yengwa, Magwaza, and TC Ngcobo, and Mr. Ngcobo intimidates other staff instructing them not to speak to me or acknowledge me. When i ask permission to record their voices and/or video the signage, I am refused permission and threatened.
