Courier IT - Inconsistent delivery dates - incorrect tracking updates

Courier IT sent an sms saying that my order is out for delivery which was not the truth. Because I called them at 12:00 during the day and they confirmed that the driver will deliver my order around 16:00. Which again was not the truth, because I called the agent again at 17:30 and they said my parcel is with the driver and he will deliver it before 18:00. In which after waiting for it the whole day didn't arrive. And later around 18:30. The tracking status changed to 'Contact not available '. Which again is not the truth because the delivery guy didn't even call me. Now I don't know if I should wai t the whole entire weekend before receiving my order. Because they are not consistent with their updates, and whatever their doing doesn't correspond with the tracker.
My worry now is, what if they same cycle keeps going and I end up receiving my order very late.
