I received a text message to make a payment to avoid electricity disconnection. The electricity was indeed disconnected on a Sunday. A payment was made, proof of payment was forwarded to 3 different departments however I still don't have electricity. It was brought to my attention upon forwarding the proof of payment that I was not on the disconnection list, therefore the possibility was that there is a possible fault on my meter. Different consultants confirmed that disconnections don't take place on Sundays and that I was not on the disconnection list. It has been 4 days without electricity, no technician has arrived to check what the issue is.
